LIPPINCOTT
The former dilapidated house that sits by a laneway really resonated with Albert Franck’s realistic paintings. Structurally complex and built tight to the property lines, it was important to keep as much of the form as possible. The living and dining rooms, and kitchen are located on the ground floor. The second floor contains multiple bedrooms and an office space, concealed with a glass pocket door, which subdivides the space when required. The third floor of the house is the primary bedroom with a terrace. A terrace at this level provides a remarkable view of the downtown to the South-West.
